NHL STATUS

Selected by the Tampa Bay Lightening in the 2nd round (44th overall) at the 2016 NHL entry draft.

FACTS

Katchouk became the first T-Bird alumnus to suit up at the BMO CHL/NHL Top Prospects game since Patrick Jarrett (2002).

Katchouk became the first T-Bird alumnus to be drafted by an NHL team since Colin Miller, who was selected in the 5th (151st overall) by the Los Angeles Kings in 2012.
