Remo Febbraro, Roster (Soo Thunderbirds)

Febbraro ended his rookie season with the Thunderbirds last year with a 2.90 goals-against average, good for second-best in the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League. In 16 regular season games, the 5-foot-11, 215-pound goalie also earned an impressive 0.906 save percentage. Though injuries forced Febbraro to the sidelines for the first three months of the 2011-12 campaign, he rejoined the Thunderbirds lineup in December 2011.

Prior to entering the NOJHL, highlights for Febbraro include a 2006-07 bronze medal finish at the Bantam AAA All-Ontario Championships and, in the 2007-08 season with the Soo North Stars, finishing as the top goaltender in the Great North Midget League. In 2009, he helped St. Mary’s College capture an OFSAA provincial high school hockey championship. Febbraro is currently enrolled in the Police Foundations program at Sault College.
