Thunderbirds complete weekend sweep of Blind River

BLIND RIVER, ONT. – The Soo Thunderbirds capped off a weekend sweep of the Blind River Beavers on Saturday night.The Thunderbirds beat the Beavers 4-3 in Blind River in NOJHL action.Brett Campbell and Corey Jackson led the way with a goal and an assist each in the win for the Thunderbirds while goaltender John Kleinhans stopped 37 shots. Cody Zorzi and Josh Hicks also scored in the win.Tyler Brown led the offensive attack for the Beavers with a goal and an assist while Shane Snow and Alex Batistelli also scored in the loss. Goaltender Peter Ludek stopped 29 shots in a losing cause.
